Burnout Workshops
Burnout syndrome is a prolonged response to stress marked by overwhelming exhaustion, feelings of cynicism and detachment from the job, and a sense of ineffectiveness and lack of accomplishment.
How can a workshop about burnout help my business?
You and your employees may benefit from expertly curated online workshops that will help to address the physical symptoms of burnout, to learn how to be proactive before burnout shows up, and by learning skills to interrupt the cycle and get relief.
When your employees are not prioritizing their own self-care, your business can suffer as a result.
Our workshops help your employees increase their sense of wellbeing and can potentially reduce absenteeism and lost productivity related to symptoms of burnout.
“We think, mistakenly, that success is the result of the amount of time we put in at work, instead of the quality of time
we put in.” —Arianna Huffington, Co-Founder of The Huffington Post

How does burnout happen?
Burnout creeps up slowly, over time. Feeling overwhelmed, unstable and lacking support can lead to unhealthy levels of stress. Burnout is not simply a result of working long hours or juggling too many tasks, though those both play a role. We live in a world in which more is constantly being demanded of us, with less space to take pauses and rest.

How does burnout impact your life?
Burnout often shows up as physical symptoms such as headaches, extreme fatigue, heartburn, GI problems, feeling like you’re drowning in worry, irritability and increases the potential to misuse alcohol, drugs, prescriptions or food to keep afloat. This can lead to more days missed at work, wanting to interact with colleagues less and a sense of helplessness and difficulty focusing on tasks.
